As an LBMC Healthcare Consulting Senior Analyst, you will engage in diverse healthcare consulting advisory and data projects, collaborating directly with small private practices, hospitals, health systems, and private equity-backed provider groups. SCOPE OF WORK

  • Provide advisory support to healthcare clients seeking guidance on operational improvement, revenue optimization, industry benchmarking, and more.
  • Assist with the implementation and design of data environments to enhance the impact of user dashboards.
  • Support coding and compliance reviews through robust analytics, ensuring regulatory adherence and revenue optimization.
  • Apply healthcare experience and data analytics to conduct comprehensive buy and sell-side healthcare due diligence, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Engage in provider compensation modeling reviews, redesigns, and implementation engagements, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform and manage client deliverable development, ensuring high-quality outputs, adherence to project timelines, and facilitating productive work sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support peer and junior staff, contributing to their professional development through collaborative learning initiatives. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in healthcare and data analytics, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.
  • Proficiency in building robust Excel models and Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and processes, including but not limited to, data ingestion, modeling, and data analytic/visualization components.
  • Knowledge of physician compensation methodologies, healthcare due diligence processes, and medical coding principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders presenting findings to executive audiences.
